hey guys, so im here today to chat to you all about... Perfume.
so as we all know, perfume is vital in a girls life. im not if its just me but it is my biggest fear to smell bad and thanks to perfume my fear is compressed.
so the more i thought about it, the more i wanted to find out what is in perfume, what is it made from and what is the geography of it.
so lets begin..
perfume is a mixture of fragrant essentials oils or aroma compounds, fixatives and solvent used to give the human body, animals, food, objects, and living spaces a pleasant scent. this is the definintion they give you when you look it up in wikipedia. perfume is usually made from of ethonal and water. there are many different types of perfumes out there and many different scents which you can buy, here is a list:
citris- these types of perfumes are infused with tangy extracts of citris fruits.
oceanic-this perfume is made from synthetic compounds to create natural aromas such as mountain air, ocean spray or clean linen.
oriental-this perfume type has a musky smell to it, sometimes floral scent will be added to this.
spicy-made from cloves, ginger, cinnamon, cardamon and pepper, spicy perfumes are comforting and alluring in an old-fashione
woody- this perfume type is built on bark and moss and other forsetry things.
green- these perfumes are made from the earth, such as grass and trees.
fruity- these perfumes are made from normally apple, peach, berry, mango and any other juicy fruit. usually a floral scent will be added to the mix for they go well together.
floral- this scent is made from various flowers that are picked and seepesd, squeezed and boiled ect.

reasons for my choice

Hey guys, so the reason why I have created this blog is for my environmental studies project. We were told in class one day that we had to choose a topic in which we are interested in and to do a project about “the geography” of it.

The reason why I chose “cosmetics/makeup” as my topic to write about, is due to the fact that I have a slight obsession with it.

 I think it started when I was 13. That’s when I started to get into watching makeup tutorials on Youtube. It grew and grew until I had made what started off as a small collection of products to a very large collection of mascaras, foundations and every other makeup product that is available. I got really into applying makeup and learning all the tips about it. I also love pampering myself with products such as moisturizer, perfume ect. I still love buying makeup but my slight obsession has gone down. I still am very interested in it and I realised that I know very little about it. So that’s why I’m here today, to learn and to blog.

So let’s start-

Makeup has been around for centuries. It originated in the Middle East, and has been around so long that it is actually mentioned in the old testament. When you look up cosmetics in the dictionary, it tells you “cosmetics are superficial measures to make something appear better, more attractive, or more impressive”.

Cosmetics include such things as foundation, lipstick, mascara, moisturizer, concealer, body wash and any other beauty product you can think of.

So first product which im going to talk about it is bronzer. I am going to upload a video of it now.
